Do I drive myself, or does a guide drive?
You drive your own buggy — a guide leads the convoy and another follows at the back, but everyone in between drives themselves. A valid driving licence is required.
How much does a buggy safari cost?
Prices are per vehicle, not per person. Short route (2.5–3 hours): 2-seater €110, 3-seater €150, 4-seater €200. Long route (4.5 hours): 2-seater €140, 3-seater €170, 4-seater €230. A quad carries two people — €80 short route, €100 long route. The only extra is the Adonis Baths entrance, €10 per person, paid on site.
What's the minimum age?
Generally 21+, sometimes higher depending on the vehicle. Message us with your group's ages and we'll confirm exactly what you qualify for.
Is it safe if I've never driven off-road before?
Yes — you'll get a safety briefing before setting off, and the group moves at a controlled pace in single file behind the guide.
Is there a deposit?
No — there is no security deposit on the safari tours.
Do you pick up from my hotel?
Yes, free hotel pickup and drop-off in the Paphos area.
Is the safari suitable for young children?
Yes, as passengers — a child too young to hold a driving licence can ride along with an adult driver, they just can’t drive themselves.
What time do safari tours start?
Most tours start around 9am, with hotel pickup shortly before. Exact timing can vary slightly by day and availability — message us with your date and we’ll confirm.
Is there a shorter tour, or one that starts in the afternoon?
There is a shorter route of about 2.5–3 hours as well as the full 4.5-hour one, so you don’t have to give up the whole day. Most departures are in the morning, and an afternoon start is sometimes possible depending on the day and the operator. Send us your date and how much time you have and we’ll tell you honestly what fits.
Can we visit the Blue Lagoon on the safari?
Not currently — the buggy road to the Blue Lagoon is closed. Ask us for the current route when you book, as this can change.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. Safari places fill up, especially the morning departures and anything with a 4-seater in it, and same-day is often already gone by the time you ask. We’ll always check — but a few days’ notice gets you the date and the vehicle you actually wanted.
Can you take a big group?
Yes. The safari runs as a convoy, so a big group simply means more vehicles in the same line — we’ve had fourteen people out together across three families. Tell us the headcount, the date and how many can drive, and we’ll check what the operators can put together.
